Our Curriculum

Grade 1

2. Mathematics: The Mathematics curriculum in Grade 4 covers topics such as fractions, decimals, geometry, measurement, and data handling. Students continue to develop their problem-solving skills and learn to use mathematical concepts in real-life situations and integration of concepts learnt in the other subjects, hands on experience in the math lab utilizing the material available.
   Activities on the concepts are done like fraction wheel, place value chart, factor tree as X-mas tree. They are taken to the Math lab for hands-on learning of concepts.
3. EVS: The Science curriculum in Grade 4 covers topics such as plants and animals, the human body, energy, and natural resources. Students learn about basic scientific concepts and conduct simple experiments to explore these topics.They are taken to the science labs to experience various models.
4. Robotics:The Robotics curriculum includes Introduction, Prokit checklist, Roboguru software, loops & conditions, Basic Programming in roboguru. The children visit the AI lab.A Robotics fest was also organized where the students had displayed working models on AI.
5. Hindi/ Telugu: Children also learn either Hindi or Telugu as their second and third languages.
6. GK and Value education : The curriculum of Gk is designed in a way to improve their general knowledge and awareness. The stories covered in Value education are moral based , to inculcate values in the children.
7. Computers: The Computers curriculum includes Introduction to powerpoint , Working with slides , Browsing the internet . Weekly children visit the Computer lab.
8. PVA Activities :Children are also exposed to various Performing and Visual Arts like Art & craft , Music and dance. They get an opportunity to explore their creativity.
9. CCA Activities :Students discover their interests and talents. CCAs also provide platforms for students to develop their character, learn values, social emotional competencies and other relevant skills to prepare them for future challenges and also teaches them to be team leaders.
10. Inter school competitions :The school encourages and prepares students to participate in various inter school competitions.

Grade 5

Students continue to develop their problem-solving skills and learn to use mathematical concepts in real-life situations and integration of concepts learnt in the other subjects, hands on experience in the math lab utilizing the material available.
   Activities on the concepts are done like pizza fraction using the ingredients place value chart, factor tree as X-mas tree
3. Science: The Science curriculum in Grade 5 covers topics such as the solar system, matter, force, and motion. Students learn about basic scientific concepts and conduct experiments to explore these topics in the science lab.
4. Social Studies:The Social Studies curriculum in Grade 5 covers topics related to history, geography, and civics. Students learn about the struggle for Indian independence, the geography of India, and the basic principles of the Indian Constitution.
